Our 24th Fun!

We had a great 24th of July. I started out my day by running the annual Enterprise "Pioneer Day Fun Run" 5K. It was really great. A couple friends and I started running about 2 months ago and decided to run the 5K. Yeah, so they totally smoked me, and took first and second in our age category. Hey, I finished though and not last by any means! Anyway, I was also asked to be in charge of the Relief Society Float for the Newcastle ward's parade, which I was not happy, I usually spend the day in Enterprise, I've never seen a Newcastle parade. Well, it turned out really good! Eva was tired after the parade so I went home while she took a nap and Case and Kyle went back up to the church for the program and kid activities and lunch. Then we headed to Enterprise for the annual races (which my dad announces every year.) It was really hot and Eva was not happy. Case won his 4 year old age group and then beat the winner from the girls age group. He was so fast! He won a quarter, and was pretty impressed with himself. We got an ice cream at Marvs and went home. Then we had a big family barbeque and Kyle's parents house, then Eva had a blow out, so I took Eva home while they did fireworks. Then, to top off the evening, we killed a scorpion on our back porch. Ugh! I hate bugs. Anyway, I have always loved Pioneer Day and am so thankful for all the sacrifices of my ancestors so that I can live where I do and enjoy all the things that I do.

Here's our float- the parade theme was "Count Your Blessings" so we took the hymn and used it- the RS presidency rode, along with Grandma Christensen and a few others.

~We Love Swimming!~

My family went swimming down to Veyo yesterday. We had so much dang fun. We got there around 5:00 pm and decided that was the time to go swimming. No hot sun to get sunburned and it was still way warm. Eva loved it! Quade even got in too and he loved it. Tessa brought her friend Kenni so there was a bunch of us! Altogether there was Kyle, me, Case, Eva, my mom, my dad, Taleena, Tessa, Kenni, Tara, Slade and Quade. We swam until closing time and even watched them drain the pool. About an hour before closing we decided it was time to start doing tricks (there was only one other family there- the Jones's from Beryl) and we got pretty silly. Kenni started it by showing off her awesome dives, then Tessa started, and Taleena went, then Kyle and Slade started cannon-balling and guess what? Case does the BEST cannon ball you've ever seen a 4 year old do! He absolutely loves the water. He jumps right in the 7 foot with no fear! (with floaties on!) He was loving it. My dad walked Eva all around the pool- he and my mom are trying to teach her how to walk without my permission, of course! Anyway, we had a great time together and will definitely going again!

(: Cute Kids :)

Here's some very cute pictures of 3 very cute kids! Eva and Case after church and Eva and

Our Fourth!

Okay, so it's a week late, but oh well. You have to see these cute pics of our very uneventful Fourth of July. We were bums and stayed home (my family left) and went to the scout breakfast at the church and was really lazy the rest of the day, until we went to Kyle's brothers house for a barbeque and fireworks. I have to say it was really fun. I love his family, very entertaining! Case eventually had fun with the sparklers, (cool pic huh). Then Jared and Ryan were the chosen pyros to light the fireworks. OOOH, AAAH. We were giving them a bad time! :) And I got all the cousins together for a cute pic of all their heads together from above, and FYI, it works better when there's not a bazillion kids! Ha Ha. It turned out cute nonetheless. Eva was not happy as you can tell!

What a Crazy Christensen Clan!

Pretty sunset before the fireworks.

I'm Terrible!!!!!!

OOOH, goodness, how the month of June quickly went by. Why is that? Why do the days seem to go so fast? It's not fair! Well, here is our month of June in a nutshell. Enjoy!

My aunt's cat had babies so we went to see the kitties. Eva LOVED them so much! She really is an animal baby! She loves to pet any animal that will let her. Especially Sadie, my parent's dog. Look out baby kitty- here comes Eva!

Gotta love the bed-head! This is Eva first thing in the morning. And yes, she is always this happy every morning. This day was especially cute! Love you sissy!

Playing at the park in St. George. So I carted my whole family to town one saturday to get my hair done and we decided to eat lunch at the park and let Case play. He loves the park and Eva did too!

A cute snap of my cuties!

We went up to Beaver Mountain for the annual Chamberlain Reunion. Well, it's every other year now! We love camping and Eva actually did too. The only thing we didn't like was the mosquitos, but my new OFF clip-on fan worked pretty dang good! Eva and Case didn't get any bites. I did of course, but I had to wear my capris, so that's my fault! We love having our trailer to stay in, although it didn't prevent Case from the wonderful BLACK dirt on Beaver Mountain.

The highlight of the reunion- canoeing on Tushar Lake. Case and Kyle caught some pretty big fish too!

Oh Goodness, a face only his mother could love! He's so handsome! He and Sahara had way too much fun in the dirt!

Eva loves her stroller, especially in the mountians!

Stamp Club and Cards!

I am loving being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I love coming up with the projects to do every month when we meet. This month was Christy's party at her house. Here's the gals working on the 3 tier pop up cake card that we made. Some of them wanted to kill me---------- but we worked through it and got it done. The projects turned out really cute!

Here's my mom Faleen, Michelle, Lue, Cassy and Cassie

Elaine and Linda

Christy, our hostess

Michelle showing her cute cake card!

My favorite of the 3 projects- using the "Fresh Cuts" cards and stamp set

The front of the cake card (I know, retired scallop stamp, I have no birthday sets!)

The inside of the card- using the Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper. Cute huh!

Here's the one using 4 new In-Colors and "Trendy Trees" stamp set. Nice and easy- I stitched on the paper with my sewing machine.

Here's Christy's WOW project- it was very difficult but it turned out okay. Just don't look too close! This is using the Good Morning Sunshing Designer Series Paper.

And for the inside- Cute daisy cut with the Big Shot. Man I love that thing!

I made this post for you Tam! We miss you and love you tons!

So much to do.........

So for Memorial Day, we decided to go fishing at our Reservoir. We had a fun time. We roasted hot dogs, and Case and Kyle even reeled in a huge fish! (not really) Miss Eva was good, and liked watching the ducks on the water and eating rocks (really.)

Fun Bags! For Case's Birthday, my sister Tara gave Case a big Capri Sun bag with swim stuff in it. She has been making these bags since she was in high school. Well, I decided it was time to make one, so this one was for my niece Kaylee's birthday. I also made a tiny one for my other niece Lila's birthday. The vinyl bag is a Stampin' Up! concoction. My sister-in-law got the instructions from Convention last year and I made 3 for Christmas presents (Tara, Mom, Tessa) They are so fun and so original. You can use absolutely any paper and ribbon in the world. I am making another for my church tote, so when I get it done, I'll post it. Fun and hand-made!
